Dr. Jelka Milić
Biography
Dr. Jelka Milić is a medical doctor specialized in the homeopathic method of treatment with over 20 years of clinical experience.
In her practice, she applies an individualized and comprehensive approach to individuals of all age groups with chronic illnesses, including pregnant women, infants, children, and the elderly, for whom homeopathy has been proven harmless. In cases of patients on conventional medications, homeopathy is introduced as an additional (complementary) method of treatment.
Since 2007, Dr. Milić has been an active member of the International Organization of Homeopathic Physicians - Liga Medicorum Homoeopathica Internationalis (LMHI), where she also served as the Prime General Secretary from 2013 to 2016.

She actively promotes homeopathy in Croatia through organizing public and professional lectures independently and in collaboration with Croatian and foreign speakers and institutions.
Dr. Milić graduated in medicine from the School of Medicine at the University of Zagreb in Split (1998). She obtained an international diploma in classical homeopathy from The London International College of Homeopathy (+300 hours, 1998-2000). She further specialized in the theory and practice of classical homeopathy in Mumbai, India, at the Predictive Homoeopathy School, in 2003 and 2005 (295 hours). After completing a two-year internship for medical doctors in 2001, she established a private practice in classical homeopathy in Split, which she continues to run. She consistently enhances her professional knowledge and skills in classical homeopathy by participating in domestic and international conferences and congresses, as well as through independent study. She has been married since 1995 and is the mother of two (adult) children.
From 2001 to 2003, in collaboration with the homeopathic school "Via homeopatica" from Israel, Dr. Milić conducted an international postgraduate homeopathic education program called "7 Quantum Leaps to Homeopathic Excellence" attended by homeopaths from Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Macedonia, Israel, and Russia. By attending the 60th congress of the International Organization of Homeopathic Physicians (Liga Medicorum Homoeopathica Internationalis – LMHI) in Berlin in 2005, she established cooperation with this leading international organization of homeopathic physicians. From 2007 to 2012, she served as the contact person for Croatia within LMHI. She played a foundational role in establishing the Croatian Homeopathic Medical Society – HOMED in 2008, which brought together active Croatian medical doctors, dentists, veterinarians, and pharmacists with additional homeopathic qualifications, as well as authors, scientists, and researchers in the field of homeopathy.
Allopathy is not the only way to treat – choose differently – choose homeopathy.
Dr. Milić served as the president of HOMED from 2008 to 2012. During this period, in 2009, HOMED was accepted as a full institutional member of the European Committee for Homeopathy (ECH). In 2010, HOMED participated in the work of the Working Group for the Regulation of Complementary Medicine of the Croatian Medical Chamber, submitting international guidelines for homeopathic education and practice translated into Croatian to the LMHI – ECH.
In her role as the LMHI contact person for Croatia, and as the president of HOMED, Dr. Milić had the opportunity in 2009 to nominate HOMED and Croatia for the celebration of the International Day of Homeopathy, held on March 24, 2011, in Zagreb. In joint organization with HOMED, ECH, and LMHI, this event included a series of meetings between representatives of these organizations and representatives of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Croatia, the Croatian Medical Chamber, and the Croatian Agency for Medicinal Products and Medical Devices. An International Symposium on Homeopathic Medicine was also held, where both foreign homeopathic doctors and lecturers, as well as experts from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Croatia, the Croatian Medical Chamber, the Veterinary and and Pharmaceutical-Biochemical Faculty in Zagreb, presented on homeopathy. It was an opportunity to inform and sensitize key Croatian stakeholders about the status of homeopathic medicine as a legal medical method in Europe and the world, contributing to the process of aligning homeopathic legislation in Croatia with European and international guidelines.
At the invitation of the LMHI Executive Committee members, Dr. Milić ran for the position of LMHI Prime General Secretary in 2012, and her mandate (2013-2016), by the decision of the LMHI International Council, was confirmed at the LMHI General Assembly held in Quito, Ecuador, on June 3, 2013. From 2013 to 2017, in addition to her role as LMHI Prime General Secretary, Dr. Milić actively participated in the work of LMHI, particularly in the Education and Public Relations (PR) Working Groups.
Since 2018, Dr. Milić has reduced the scope of her volunteer activities in domestic and international homeopathic organizations and has focused more on her private clinical homeopathic practice and family duties.
